Heart of Darkness analysis May 9th, 1999 Marlow’s inbred Journey Heart of Darkness is a story around Marlow’s excursion to discover his inner self. Along the way, Marlow faces his fears of failure, insanity, death, and heathen contamination on his trek to the inner station.
